Paul Laird is an Enrolled Agent, located in Oakley, preparing tax  returns for clients in the Bay Area and, remotely throughout the  country, providing tax services from the simplest individual tax return  to the more complex, including: income from business, rentals,  investments, estates, LLC’s, S-Corp, Day Trading and Crypto Currency.

With more than 22 years’ experience as a CTEC, preparing electronic tax returns; 16 years’ experience as an Enrolled Agent and admitted to practice before  the IRS, I am available to address IRS and FTB letters and to represent  clients before the IRS. I welcome the opportunity to work with you on  current and past tax matters. I’m available to meet in person or online  and hope to begin a long-term prosperous relationship.

I pride myself in improving my tax knowledge  by taking 25-30+ hours of tax courses per year. I’m continually trying  to stay on top of current tax laws and changes through online research  and study to better meet my individual client’s needs and demands. Some  of my stronger areas of study are rental properties, self-employed  individuals, investments and restricted stock unit sales.
